Great start of this new series! I cannot wait for the next one.
I enjoy the story it a good start on the series. I enjoyed the characters. Stephani is one my favorite authors.
Awesome! Great story but would have liked just a tad more at the end and a bit more character description. Also, more explanation on the dark elves and why Saint was so angry at his birth father.
Another amazing book by Stephani, another series to get addicted to! Can't wait for the next book in this series.... Stephani makes me feel like a kid asking "are we there yet?"
I loved the book but It came off a little childish to me. It feels almost as if this should be book 2 not 1. Saint is super pissed/hateful of other paranormals but it never says why...so much feels unexplained and half formed. I did enjoy this book and I'll get the others it just feels half finished.
I was hopeful about this story. When I first started reading M/M romance, I read a lot of Hecht's Lost Shifters series. I enjoyed them but ultimately gave up on the series due to repetitiveness $ poor proofreading. Unfortunately, this is more of the same. I was hoping that in the intervening time Hecht might have grown as a writer but her style is still rather immature. It's not the pop culture references, because those are often funny. It's grammatical mistakes, phrasing, & a lack of imagination in her plots. This reads more like fan fic than professional writing. It's also short, but that's par for the course with this author. If you like short, mindless, churned-out-for-the-money quickies, this author's a good choice. She's got enough out to keep you busy. If you want something with better writing & more imagination, try Lynn Gala or Angel Martinez.
